Welcome

A very warm welcome to parishioners and visitors to the website of the parish of St Bede's, Bedlington, Northumberland, situated in the North East of England in the diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The parish was established in 1876 under the care of the Benedictines and its mission was, as it is today, the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Father, 
Who art in Heaven, 
hallowed be Thy name; 
Thy Kingdom come, 
Thy will be done 
on earth as it is in Heaven. 
Give us this day our daily bread; 
and forgive us our trespasses 
as we forgive those who trespass against us; 
and lead us not into temptation, 
but deliver us from evil.
